Oh Crap, Another Tower--Alhambra, Part II

So Granada is already on a sizable hill (read: mountain) and then the Alhambra is on a much steeper piece of that mountain. So much so that walking to it isn't advised. And then, once you're at the Alhambra, there is the Alcazaba, the fortress and oldest part of the complex (9th century). Climbing around on the narrow bridges over the structures, trudging up the stairs to the various towers, and cautiously peering over extremely steep drops was all pretty nerve-wracking/exhausting with two speedy boys in tow. But the views... Sierra Nevada ranges, Granada, and just the entire complex including the Generalife gardens. It was awesome. It really feels impossibly high. The fifth photo here is just one of the many amazing water fountains that Ben and Nate really loved. More of that to come.
