We weren't too interested in Palacio Real for some reason but we were so glad we went for its amazing armory, throne room, etc. Madrid wasn't all day trips and palaces and cathedrals, however. The boys got up every day to play their DS games in their pajamas. We found time to practice hackeysack in the park (pictures to come when the photographer gets better at action shots!). And trips to the market and the cafe were equally fun. We were sorry to leave Madrid but also excited for our first road trip...
