Cadaques, Part 1: AIDS Walk SF 2010

Our hotel was a tidy place off the main drag in Cadaques. We were smitten with what looked like a drink holder atop the toilet paper so you might appreciate the view (bougainnvilla? olive farm, sea) while you sipped, etc. Leave it to a beach hotel! The first morning I needed to tackle the AIDS Walk SF (7 miles, give or take) and my friend Liza Algar suggested the walk to Dali's house in Port Lligat. We were already planning that trip so it worked out very well, though I may have skimped the mileage a tiny bit. When we got to Port Lligat, I walked a little further to make up some distance. But as you can see in the photos, the vertical climb of the hills gave us a good bit of exercise!
