It's All Downhill--Alhambra, Part IV

So that big hill/mountain we went up has a long, long road leading back to town, some of it shaded over with a trellis of beautiful flowers overhead and some shaded with tall pines and other trees that cast awesome shadows of their wild leaves. What mattered most to the kids was that the trail was bounded by a trench of water that raced downhill. They'll probably remember the branch/leaf races and that old road far in greater detail and far longer than the amazing palaces and gardens. And the middle picture was just a stop for a late lunch/early dinner at the official exit of the Alhambra. The restaurant across the street may seem like a tourist trip but it had the most amazing grilled fish. So this is the afterglow shot, three of us grinning after an unexpectedly great meal!
